Advancing the Vision
January ushers in a new year—a time for renewed engagement with Chicago United’s community and our programs and initiatives—and commemorates Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday with a National Holiday and a Day of Service.
Dr. King is unequivocally connected to the history of this organization and after nearly 60 years following his tragic assassination, we remain committed to living up to his principles by providing our Members the resources that drive meaningful change in Chicago’s business community. A key resource our Members can engage is Chicago United’s Corporate Inclusion Institute.
CII represents a significant investment in people and organizational performance, resulting in an undeniable impact to employees and the business community. At a time when 88 percent of businesses identify employee retention as a top concern, our acclaimed inclusive leadership development program provides experiential learning experiences that support internal mobility, talent retention, and enhanced business performance.
CII serves as an instrument to advance Dr. King’s vision, effectively enhancing access and opportunity, and ultimately driving transformative outcomes within Chicago’s business landscape.
Be well,
