Cohort VII Opening Breakfast

Chicago United’s Corporate Inclusion Institute (CII) will launch Cohort VII with an Opening Breakfast, hosted by Wintrust. Taking place Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 9:00am-10:30am, this launch event will provide key information that will inspire a successful program.  

Registration remains open for CII-VII. Member organizations and companies may contact Doris Salomon, Vice President of Programs and Initiatives, at dsalomon@chicago-united.org, to enroll team members. Please share this information with your network.

Darrel Hackett, U.S. Chief Executive Officer at BMO (a Chicago United Member Company), who previously served on Chicago United’s Board of Directors, was  appointed to The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Federal Advisory Council (FAC) Representative for the Seventh Federal Reserve District.

Lou Sandoval, Founder of HALO Advisory Group and a 2021 Business Leader of Color, was appointed President and CEO of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce.

Rodrigo Garcia, Global Chief Financial Officer and U.S. President of Talipot*Holdings and a 2023 Business Leader of Color, has been appointed to The UBS Funds’ Board of Directors.

Mary Smith, President of the American Bar Association and a 2023 Business Leader of Color, was named a recipient of The University of Chicago’s annual Diversity Leadership Award which recognizes faculty, students, staff and alumni who have shown a sustained commitment to fostering justice and equality.

Corliss Garner, Executive Vice President & Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Old National Bank and a 2023 Business Leader of Color, was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Healthy Communities Foundation.

Kimberley Goode, Chief Communications and Social Impact Officer at BMO (a Chicago United Member Company), a Chicago United Board Member and a 2023 Business Leader of Color, was named to Providence Health Plan's Board of Directors.
