The
Chicago United Employee Network Group Forums are an opportunity
for leaders of employee network groups (ENGs), human resource
professionals, and members of senior management to share
information, strategies and best practices around issues
like organizing employee network groups; leveraging ENGs
for professional growth and development; and the role of
ENGs in corporate America. Presented twice annually, the
half-day forums are no cost to attendees. Work at the Chicago
United Forums helps build winning workforces and create
more culturally competent work environments.

Synergy Matters: Employee Network Groups and Corporations
Building Winning Workforces

Overview
Chicago
United has produced its Employee Network Group (ENG) Summit
Series since 2004. The series has covered a wide variety
of topics ranging from starting an ENG to aligning ENG objectives
with the strategic objectives of its corporation. Also,
it has addressed the value of ENGs and how to articulate
that value, accomplish organizational goals and objectives,
and run effectively.
This
year, Chicago United has redesigned the Summit from a two-hour
facilitated discussion to a half-day forum. The 2008 ENG
Forum will take the dialog to the next level and address
multiple topics in a series of group tabletop-discussions
in the following areas: Refining the Business Case; Organizing
Employee Network and/or Affinity Groups; Mobilizing Membership
into Action; Enhancing Professional Development; Improving
Succession Planning; Engaging Executive Leadership; and
Measuring Effectiveness.
These
topics will ensure a robust discussion and inspire the emergence
of other important issues. At the conclusion of the tabletop
discussions a representative from each group will provide
a summary.
Value
The
Employee Network Group Forum is a free half-day forum where
leaders of ENGs, human resource professionals, and members
of senior management have the opportunity to share information
and strategies. Work at the Chicago United forum helps to
build winning workforces and to create more culturally competent
work environments. The only investment you make is your
time.
Employee
network groups are an important resource in building the
next generation of leaders. As such, they have the potential
to add significant value to its members and employers. Join
us for the opportunity to take your ENG to the next level.
